Seleção Natural, using data on biodiversity, mathematical modeling of ecological niches, sensitivity, and priority criteria to conserve natural populations and ecosystems, and its own technical experience in sampling designs and protocols, intends to develop a platform to map and identify action plans to conserve and restore ecosystems in Brazil.
The startup will develop a platform to simplify the production of action plans to implement and comply with biodiversity commitments, so farmers and the private sector will know what to do and where to act to conserve biodiversity, monitor biological populations and protect relevant fragments of native vegetation within their boundaries.
The platform will allow them to automate the drafting of low-cost corporate biodiversity plans, with no need for major investments in biodiversity field prospecting expeditions. They will be able to plan conservation actions efficiently, and direct their financial investments to make a difference for biodiversity.
