The international market's growing demand for sustainable, deforestation-free farming has generated increasing demand for data on sourcing and monitoring in agricultural supply chains.

As Latin America's largest digital grain trading platform, Grão Direto intends to use its extensive coverage and broad database to generate reports on the sourcing and monitoring of agricultural supply chains to comply with sustainability standards set by the Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (Abiove) and the National Association of Grain Exporters (ANEC).

Participation in the Sustainable Soy in the Cerrado Program (PSSC) will connect the startup with experts in traceability to enhance solutions and optimize the performance of its compliance reports.

The company also intends to include intermediate suppliers' data in the service platform, to further expand its traceability portfolio. Buyers will thus be able to access socio-environmental information on batches they are negotiating, to ensure transparency and compliance throughout the supply chain.
