Technological solutions for a responsible soy production in the Cerrado
This climate sensing company is developing an environmental monitoring platform designed to prevent and mitigate forest fires and promote environmental conservation in the Cerrado, with a focus on soy production areas. Its solutionuses advanced remote sensing and satellite monitoring technology to identify risk areas and issue instant alerts to firefighting teams. The tool can also provide detailed information on the location and severity of fires, along with optimized routes for rapid response by emergency teams.
The tool developed by Cyan will enable farmers to identify ideal application windows to spread agricultural products, using reliable weather data. It provides ultra-spatialized weather information and filters climate variables to optimize the use of inputs. This will help reduce production costs and environmental impacts associated with the excessive use of chemicals on farms and thereby also favor, indirectly, traditional and indigenous communities.
